Overview

The Sol Project seeks a dynamic, curious, and rigorous producer who will support the day-to-day  operations of a theatre initiative committed to supporting and nurturing Latiné playwrights and a  growing community of Latiné artists.

The Producer will work in partnership with the Co-Artistic Directors to provide support and ensure  projects are driven forward and are completed successfully. The Producer will serve as the line producer  on Sol supported projects, in addition to supporting our annual new works festival, SolFest.

The Producer will have a passion for holding both the artistic and administrative components of this job  which will include budgeting, grant reporting, casting, and organizing. The Producer will be supported by  a Producing Associate, whose focus is marketing and communications. The Producing Associate will  report to the Producer.

We are looking for someone hungry to jump in by helping The Sol Project get to the finish line of  supporting 12 fully realized productions written by Latiné playwrights. We have two world premieres in  NYC coming up in the spring of 2023. Once that goal is accomplished, The Sol Project will officially sunset.
