The Sol Project: A national Theater Initiative

Amplifying the Voices of Latinx Playwrights in the American Theater.

get ready for solfest 2019!

SolFest: A Latinx Theater Festival is an exciting summertime partnership between The Sol Project and Pregones/PRTT, now on its second year. The festival lifts the voices of extraordinary Latinx playwrights, directors, and actors; gives artists and audiences a chance to preview new works at various stages of readiness; and brings everyone together for dialogue and celebration.

We are grateful to partner once again with the venerable Pregones/PRTT for our second year of SolFest, an extension of The Sol Project's mission of amplifying and supporting Latinx voices in the American theater. -Adriana Gaviria, SolFest Producer

about us

The Sol Project: A  National Theater Initiative
The Sol Project is a New York City-based theater initiative dedicated to fortifying a movement that brings the voices of Latiné artists and their stories to the forefront of the new American theater.

our work

The Sol Project works to create a bold, kaleidoscopic body of work by Latiné writers by fostering creative partnerships, providing platforms of support, and building artistic homes for artists of color in all areas of production. We aim to inspire collective impact across the artistic landscape in New York City and beyond.
